Hi,
This book was read to me at my school library and I thought it was very sweet. Sparrow Girl is about a young child living in China durng the time of the reign of Chairman Moa. A noise parade goes on killing all the sparrows in China. Her and her brother go on a quest to save all the birds. Please read the book! Its really nice.
